The MMIT is highly interested in collaborative activities and projects in the framework of Joint Projects ‘CAPACITY BUILDING IN THE FIELD OFHIGHER EDUCATION’ of ERASMUS +.
The University observes its need in:
- strengthening of the internationalization and the University capacity to network effectively in research, scientific and technological innovation; development of new governance and management systems and structures; modern university services,namely, focusing on internationalization; student and staff counseling and guidance in the field of international relations;
- Exchange of experience with partner universities for increasing quality level in English teaching and improving the qualification of the academic staff
- Exchange of academic staff with partner universities to improve their qualifications
- Creation of Electron institute, introduction of modern software for engineers, the creation of new virtual labs;
- Development of university-enterprise cooperation, including the creation of business start-ups, development of programs responding labour market needs;
- Creating the best opportunity to master English for high potential specialists of different regional enterprises
- Improving language level of specialists for integration to European education standards;

About MMIT
Mining Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan was created in2006 year. The institute is located in the center of the industrial city of Chkalovsk, where in 1945 began operating the first-born Soviet nuclear industry Mining Chemical Combine.
The Institute study conducted in two languages: Russian and Tajik. Reception held in 16 specialties. Main specialties: - geology and exploration of mineral deposits; Surveying; underground mining; mining and underground construction; open mining work; mineral processing; metallurgy of precious and rare metals; engineering environment protection; development and operation of oil and gas fields; Engineering Technology; power supply; organization and management of transport; economics and management, etc. The institute trains about 2,400 students. They are taught by more than 160 teachers, including 5 doctors, professors and 32 associate professors.
