This event aims to:
- Identify what has been done already within the scope of developing an NQF (nationally and internationally), in order to identify the existing local gaps – interna]\]\ionally, it is important to better understand how a National Qualifications Framework will allow coherence with qualifications frameworks of other countries
- Relate skills and learning outcomes to formal and non-formal education
- Define sector specific skills and competencies – presenting existing experiences and not limited to higher education institutions
- Address the needs and skills in demand by the labor market in light of the objective of the National Qualifications Framework to provide transparency and legibility of qualifications delivered in Lebanon and their relevance for the labor market as well as to allow for the recognition of the qualifications based on well-defined competencies whether they have been acquired with the formal or non-formal education.
- Identify the socio-economic and educational development opportunities within an integrated tertiary education system with distinctive, differentiated and complementary features to every constituent, i.e. vocational, technological and Higher education programme.
