A- NEO attended the kick-off meeting of the CBHE project DeCAIR that was held virtually on January 19, 2021 in presence of all partners. A total of 31 participants were present in the meeting. The project aims at developing curricula in the area of Artificial Intelligence and robotics through new master’s and bachelor programmes. These programmes will give students opportunities to specialise in AI technologies or using AI solutions to develop smart and autonomous robots that can solve unconventional problems. DeCAIR will also improve the curricula of existing masters and bachelor programmes in the areas of AIR, establish relevant modern laboratories, and implement modern teaching methods. All this will improve graduates’ practical skills and enable them to exploit these revolutionary technologies to solve local and regional problems, create new jobs, and to start new ventures. The project is coordinated by the University of Jordan and includes the following partners: Lebanese University and Beirut Arab University from Lebanon, Jordan University of Science and Technology and Tafila Technical University from Jordan. It includes 5 partners from programme countries: Creative thinking development in Greece, Universidad de Granada in Spain, Universita Degli Studi Di Genova in Italy, Universita Di Pisa in Italy, University of Stuttgart in Germany.
