NEO Lebanon participated in the Erasmus+ CBHE Grantholders meeting that took place online between 25 and 29 January 2021. The event this year took a different format. The opening session included the intervention of the keynote speaker Professor Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (2006). A number of plenary sessions were conducted for project implementation and financial management. Regional workshops were also held interactively where several issues, challenges, and important statistics about the regions were shared. Bilateral meetings between the projects and the respective Project Officers have been maintained through separate virtual meetings. The development of e-booth was the innovative element in the GH meeting of this year. Every region has been dedicated an e-booth where information and insights about how to implement projects are posted, good practices and success stories are shared, and the role of NEO is presented. The e-booth presented live sessions where NEO Lebanon in addition to NEOs from Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Jordan and Palestine gave a joint presentation to the projects coordinators and partners from the region about the project implementation and emphasised on important messages to be considered during the implementation of their projects.
